School Games Mark 2025/2026

We are delighted to announce that we, St Gilberts, have once again achieved the School Games GOLD mark for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The children have enjoyed taking part in organised sports activities throughout the year. They have represented their school with pride, showing resilience and determination taking part in a wide range of sports.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition and participation across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success for the second year running.

Some of the children from Badgers class took part in Level 2 Bikeability and were presented with their certificates and badges during Celebration Assembly.
The tutor's feed back was outstanding for the group. They reported that they were amongst the most polite children that they had ever worked with, and that their manners were impeccable. They had shown great listening skills, kindness, and resilience and it had been a pleasure to work with them. As a school it is always wonderful to hear that our pupils have represented their school in such a manner. We are very proud of them and of all that they have achieved. Well done!
