Welcome to Red Squirrel's Class
Red Squirrels consists of our year 3 and year 4 pupils!

Teacher: Miss Wright (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Mrs Tubb (Monday)

Support Staff: Mrs Watkins (HLTA)

Our PE day is a Friday afternoon, so please make sure to wear your full PE kits on those two days.

We also have forest school on a Tuesday morning so please come to school in your forest school clothes and bring your uniform to change into after.

We have been learning all about Handbells in music.
Our Virtual Author event with Harriet Muncaster.
We drew along with Harriet Muncaster as she showed us her new character creations.
In PE this term we are improving our athletic skills.
We had an exciting visitor when roots to food came in and we had the chance to learn new kitchen skills.

Homework:

We support and wish that pupils read at home each night, which gets recorded in their reading records. These records will get checked the following morning.

Red squirrel's aim is to be the best on TTRS, so we encourage time practising to become more confident with your timetables.

Your Child should also come home with a set of 10 words each week. These words should follow the spelling rule we are learning in our spelling lessons. These spellings are to be completed for a spelling test every Friday.

For extra spelling practise, our year 3 & 4 statutory word list has 100 words which children should be able to spell by the age of 9. Please use this list to practise your spellings and see how many you can get correct!
