More information about Monday 4th January

Dear Parents and carers

Understandably, we have had a number of parents contact us about their concerns regarding sending their child or children in to school tomorrow. We empathise with this very difficult situation and assure you that we will deal with each family case sensitively and with compassion. St. Gilbert’s is committed to providing home learning to families who must self-isolate in line with government guidance. However, it is with regret we are unable to provide remote access learning for those who have opted to keep their children at home; the increased workload for teachers is already a great challenge and this request simply cannot be met as face to face teaching and learning is already being delivered full time in school.

Please note on the school website you will be able to find all the medium term plans available for each class and the National Oak Academy are providing a full suite of learning for all age groups, we recommend you access these areas for guidance and appropriate learning materials. Please may we remind you that you will need to report any absence to the school office before 9:15am, you can report absence through Parent Hub, email admin@pointon.lincs.sch.uk or telephone 01529 240465.
