Courage and Perseverance Conquers All

Letter from Mrs Hunt

Dear Parent’s and Carers

Just to let you know things are ticking along nicely at St. Gilbert’s. All the children and staff have adapted well to social distancing and putting into place all the measures and systems required of us and provided in the government guidance. It’s really hard work but rewarding to feel we are making it possible for families to go back to work and children to have face to face teaching too. However, it has come to light this week that some families are potentially starting to relax social distancing outside of school. We ask for all those accessing school and making use of the facilities available to them, to continue to uphold social distancing at all times. Everyone is making sacrifices to keep St. Gilbert’s family safe. We all have a responsibility to protect each other (the staff included) and it is only fair we do our best. Please keep up the high standards we have in place to mitigate the risks for the children and staff in St. Gilbert’s family. It is everyone’s aim to return to normality, or a new normal as soon as possible. Hopefully, we will all be able to see our friends and loved ones much sooner if we all pull in the same direction.

Kindest regards

Emma Hunt
