Courage and Perseverance Conquers All

Common Blue (Years 3 and 4)

Vicious Vikings!

Our topic this term is the Vicious Vikings. We are learning all about the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons including looking at Viking myths, their way of life, raiders and trade.

In science, we are looking at light and dark. We will be conducting a series of experiments linked with light and how we see things.

PE this half term will be on Monday and Friday. Please ensure your child has both indoor and outdoor clothing as the weather is unpredictable at this time of year!

We hope you enjoy browsing the pictures on our class page.

We are the Common Blues!

Welcome Back!

I would like to welcome you to our page. Here you will find all the information you need about our class.

I would like to introduce myself as the new class teacher for the year 3/4s. My name is Miss Laywood and I am really looking forward to the year ahead. I am lucky enough to have two teaching assistants, Miss Brittain and Mrs Richardson, to be working alongside me in the Common Blues.

This half term our topic is:

The Greatest Show

We will be learning all about the circus including the history, different acts and important people linked to the circus. Our topic is based around the film 'The Greatest Showman'. In science, our focus title is 'This is Me' where we will be looking at the human body, including skeletons, muscles, the digestive system and our teeth.

Keep an eye out on this page for more exciting information about our work!
